Before planning a large collection job, check how the specific Actor is priced and what your requested inputs mean. A result limit is useful, but it is not by itself a complete cost estimate.
BatScrape’s Actors are being developed for Apify. Pricing and supported limits will be stated on each published Actor listing. We are not announcing a separate BatScrape subscription or a universal per-record price here.
Start with the listing
Read the current pricing information and usage instructions. Clarify what is being charged and whether a run has additional requirements. Use the values shown for that Actor instead of borrowing an estimate from another scraper.
Run a small, representative sample
Choose inputs that resemble the intended job. Inspect the output and the run information before increasing the scale. An empty result, a duplicate record, and a useful record are different outcomes even if a run completed.
Keep a record of the input, result count, and observed cost so the estimate can be checked later.
Include failure cases in the plan
Check the documented behavior for failed runs and retries. Do not assume that a retry resumes automatically or that previously collected results cannot incur further work.
As BatScrape listings become available, they will be the source for specific pricing and operational details. This checklist is a way to ask better questions before committing to a larger run.
